Andirondick boathouse transformed on Cream Hill Lake! Kristina's family has been a member of this private lake club since she was a baby. Sharing this extra special place with friends and family made it even more intimate for Josh & Kristina. The adirondick boathouse was 100 years old. Our job was to transform it into a venue. A clear top tent was erected over the front deck and the weathered grey benches were set around the deck's edge. This also prevented anyone from going for a surprise dip into the water! Joan, MOB, made blue & white stripe pillows for the perfect accents. As guests walked onto the boathouse deck, a wall of family photos greeted them. Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, dessert and dancing under the clear tent. The upstairs was transformed into a shabby chic dining room. Sage bengaline linens dressed the tables with mercury glass votives, gorgeous floral arrangements and elegant glassware & china. A neighbor across the lake surprised the couple with a fireworks show to end the night. Mother Nature tried to put a damper on things but was unsuccessful. This crowd would have fared anything! What a fun event!
