Emily & Alex chose Winvian Farm, nestled in the picturesque Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, for their spring destination wedding weekend. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the property, their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate the beginning of their life together.

As the day unfolded, a gentle spring rain arrived just as it was time for the ceremony. What could have been an interruption instead became one of the most beautiful and romantic moments of their Winvian Farm wedding. Guests gathered beneath the ceremony tent while the sides were opened to the landscape, allowing the soft rain to fall just beyond the ceremony as Emily and Alex exchanged their vows. There was something incredibly intimate and magical about the moment—the couple surrounded by the people they love, with the peaceful Connecticut countryside as their backdrop.

Thankfully, the skies soon cleared, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the evening and all that Winvian Farm had to offer. From the stunning surroundings to the thoughtful personal touches, every detail reflected Emily and Alex’s style. ESE created a custom garden-inspired seating chart especially for the couple, a playful and beautiful detail that felt right at home in the setting.

The evening ended on a particularly sweet note with a wedding cake that was anything but traditional—a Carvel ice cream cake, the couple’s favorite. It was the perfect personal touch to finish an unforgettable destination wedding weekend in the Litchfield Hills.
