Sarah & Bruce

Millstone Farm, Kent , Connecticut

When we first met, I walked into their backyard and was greeted by a dragonfly—a beautiful little moment that would become the inspiration for their wedding day. They wanted to incorporate the dragonfly throughout their outdoor wedding theme, creating meaningful details that reflected their personalities and the things they loved. Even the officiant wore a robe featuring the dragonfly, making the theme feel personal and intentional from beginning to end.

The couple exchanged vows in a historic stone church nearby before celebrating with an unforgettable farm wedding reception. We created a polished yet natural design beneath a large sailcloth tent at their neighbor’s farm, incorporating organic elements, thoughtful details, and a relaxed elegance that felt completely true to the couple. During the reception, we were even gifted with a beautiful rainbow—a magical touch to an already unforgettable day.

One of the most memorable moments came when the bride surprised her groom with a solo performance before dinner. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, it was a heartfelt and magical moment that perfectly captured the joy, personality, and love woven throughout their wedding celebration.
