Celebrate the Holidays with the Perfect Tablescape Setting!

It’s the season of celebration amongst loved ones, whether it’s a holiday party or wedding, December is the busiest time of year for parties and gatherings. As a yearly host of Christmas Eve dinner, I love thinking about my dinner table tablescape theme. With changing the theme every year, I have come up with some simple steps to think about when creating your own.

Start by selecting a color palette that captures the essence of the season. Classic choices like deep reds, rich greens, and shimmering golds can create a winter wonderland feel. Consider incorporating touches of silver for a modern twist. Enhance the ambiance with subtle seasonal accents. Scatter small ornaments, pinecones, or holly berries along the table for a cohesive and festive look. Consider incorporating a touch of faux snow for a magical winter feel. For setting your table you want to match your color palette and holiday theme you are

creating. Donielle from Litchfield Hills Supplies suggests colored glassware and everyday china make for a whimsical Christmas table setting when you add a few simple holiday touches. You can use ribbon and an ornament to elevate linen napkins. Complete the colorful table setting by places your colors down the center of your table. Such as cut winter greens, candles, holly berries, and more ornaments to make an elegant centerpiece. For more ideas from Donielle visit, www.litchfieldhillssupplies.com.

A holiday-themed tablescape adds an extra layer of magic to your winter wedding, creating an unforgettable experience for both you and your guests. This year my tablescape theme will be The Nutcracker, using my daughter's collection as the focal point. Embellishing them with fresh garland, pinecones, holly, berries, and baby's breath. Deep red tablecloth with gold votive tucked into the garland gave the perfect light and ambiance for the nutcrackers be my focal point. Finishing touches added a fan folded dinner napkin with an antique bell ornament for people to take home. Little touches of festive and or personalized details go a long way. I wanted to tie in wine glasses this year so I painted holly and berries which blended into my tablescape perfectly. Happy Holidays and enjoy creating your festive table!
