Yay, its finally spring! Not only does that mean longer days, warmer weather, and everything starts to bloom into something beautiful but it’s the start of the new year’s wedding season.

Getting married in the spring has a special romance and happiness to the couple. Getting married during the spring months is symbolized as a new beginning and the rebirth of 2 individuals joining together to be one filled with hope, beauty, and change.

Now let’s talk details as there are so many options to think about! Why don’t we start with color schemes as this is going to be a pattern thought-out all of your wedding details.

Winter months are all about the greys, white, blacks, and dark colors so once spring

rolls around everyone can’t wait to add color, but what is the correct shade to go with spring. You want to stick with pale shades as it’s the beginning of color of the spring season. These colors are baby blues, blush pinks, yellows, peaches, pale lavender, and neutral or mint greens. These pops of color will give your wedding guests that spring feeling and just heighten to environment around you inside or outside.

Next is flowers, thankfully flowers are allowed to have exceptions to the spring color as these are your statement pieces. Some spring flowers that look amazing in center pieces or bouquets are Peonies, tulips, hydrangeas, lilac, daffodils, baby’s breath, daisies, and even roses (it’s amazing what dye can do).

Not only do these look great they smell amazing too, but they also keep your guests happy and excited that spring is here.

You can also display flowers on your cake as a signature piece to give your cake that wow factor or even make them edible, Yum!

Flowers and colors are pretty important to give your spring wedding life, but it is also the decorations to make it a whole. As we know the saying “April Showers, may bring flowers” it can be cute to incorporate a clear umbrella in case your wedding day is a part of the April showers, but remember don’t open them up inside! Instead of throwing rice at your newly married couple you could throw lavender or even release butterflies as it’s a symbol of new life and positive change.

You can never go wrong with adding hints of natural color lanterns that are airy and open that are on the ground of even hanging to be lights. It can complete the room as times you can feel like “Something is missing” this is also a 2023 wedding trend! Don’t forget about your silverware, vintage is always a great touch and to make it stand out more tie them together making they unite as one with spring. I can’t tell you what a hit this is as every detail stands out to guests and gives your wedding that stand out factor.

In conclusion, a spring wedding is a perfect time to celebrate new beginnings and the beauty of nature coming back to life.
